Fight Covid19: Face Shields for Frontline Workers
Donation protected
We are focusing our efforts to produce and distribute face shield supplies to frontline healthcare workers combating COVID-19.
Our mother is an emergency medicine PA at a hospital in Los Angeles County. Every day we hear about the battles she and her co-workers are faced with from the effects of COVID-19. We hear about the scarce levels of equipment her hospital and all other hospitals around the country are challenged with.
Here’s the problem:
There is a shortage of masks, gowns, face shields and other critical supplies needed to protect our healthcare professionals in hospitals across the world.
If a hospital staff member becomes infected with the virus, their health is put at serious risk and they cannot work for at least 14 days. We need to protect our frontline healthcare workers.
Protective face shields are one form of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that are in great need from our medical professionals. Support us by donating to the production and distributions of face shields to hospitals and medical clinics in Southern California and beyond.
Here’s how we’re solving this problem:
So far we have produced and distributed 800+ face shields and other forms of PPE to hospitals and urgent care clinics in California, New York, and Washington State.
But there is still more to be done.
Fortunately, making these face shields are cheap. Small donations can go a long way to protecting our medical workers. The face shields are being printed on 3D printers, and by keeping our costs low we can maximize the production of units with each donation.
How can you help?
If you want to help protect frontline healthcare workers please donate $5, $15, $25 or whatever you can afford.
It is okay if you cannot donate monetarily. Another way you can help is by sharing this fundraiser through social media with your friends, family, and co-workers.
Donations go directly towards the manufacturing and distribution of face shields for our medical workers responding to the crisis.
Thank you for your consideration.
