Fight EB with Henry D: Camp Spirit
Beschermde donatie
Camp Spirit Colorado has been operating since 2008, in the beautiful Colorado mountains It was started in order to give children with Recessive Dystrophic EB, from around the country, an opportunity to
experience the thrill of winter activities, in a safe environment. Besides the activities, children enjoy being with other campers with their diagnosis, giving them the opportunity to share experiences, concerns, and ideas. This has proven invaluable seeing some of them realizing they can drive, go to college, become more independent with dressings, and developing confidence. The camp is free to the campers, with the fundraising accomplished through the Butterfly Children Fund, a non-profit in Denver, Colorado. Donations are welcome and necessary to cover the camp experience. If you would like to donate, here is a menu of ideas.
