Fight For a Hero

We are raising money for Firefighter/Paramedic Jose Negrete. He has been serving his hometown of Copperas Cove as a firefighter for the past 4 years and a paramedic for 2 years.  At just 30 years old, Jose has been diagnosed with Lymphoma and is currently in the hospital fighting for his life. His wife, Maggie, has not left his side even for a moment. Cancer is a terrible and sometimes lengthy battle. Jose is currently receiving chemotherapy and will need much more treatment before he can beat this awful disease. All donations will go directly to Jose and his wife, Maggie Omana-Negrete, as cancer treatments, hospital stays, and living expenses will quickly add up. He is the sole provider for his household and he will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time at this point. Jose has saved so many lives; now it’s our turn to repay him in any way we can. No amount is too small! The Negrete family will be incredibly grateful for any donation. If you are not in a position to donate money, that’s okay!
