Fight For Angela

We are Sherry and Tony, Angela's mom and dad. As many of you know our daughter Angie was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer that has metastasized to her neck lymph nodes which means she has to fight for her life right now. We've never asked for help for anything but with this situation we didn't know what else to do. We can't see their family suffer financially while battling this nasty disease. She has just started her long chemo treatment plan that will go on for quite some time, she needs to be set for all her medical bills for the next couple years. She has a long hard road ahead of her that we pray leads her to remission.
Angie is an awesome mom, wife, daughter ,
sister and friend. She just turned 39 and has a beautiful family to fight for. She is married to Matt (the love of her life) and has a 7 year old son Mason, 9 year old daughter Kailee, 14 year old daughter Emily and 14 year old stepson Hunter.
Last summer Angie wasn't feeling right and suspected something was wrong. She visited a gynecologist who unfortunately did not find he cancer!! Went to a new gynecologist, after a few test he found the tumor, did biopsy and came back as cancer. More tests with oncologist determined she has an inoperable tumor and not able to do a hysterectomy. They staged her at stage 2b, more testing and a Pet scan ordered and more biopsies. She was then moved up to Stage 4 metastasized, cancer has traveled to her neck lymph nodes. We are all devastated. She will be doing a very strong chemo - 7 1/2 hours of chemo every 21 days. She has already had one treatment. This will be a long continuous cycle for her with Pet scans to see if this plan is working and cancer hasn't traveled more.
Obviously there is going to be many struggles. Even with insurance, it has been very costly for them, they have a very high deductible and there are a lot of out of pocket expenses. They have already depleted their savings. Matt doesn't get paid for missed time from work to be at her side for doctor visits and chemo. Angie is unable to help at our store right now.
She has already endured many tests, scans, 3 in hospital procedures, lots of lab work, many doctor visits. The costs have been extraordinary for them. She has to use so many meds not covered and special over the counter items. She has copays for everything even after the deductible is met. This will start over again in the new year with a new deductible. Expenses will be out of sight for this family. We want everything possible to be done medically to save her life.
Angie is a very strong girl and she will fight with our help and with Gods blessings, she will beat this. We need life to remain as normal as possible for her kids.
