A Fight for Cancer - Angela Torres

Update: Hello Friends and Family, with a heavy heart I must inform you that our wonderful and precious Angela has lost her battle to cancer. Angela is now resting in peace in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ with complete healing. Her family is still in need of help with the expenses for her funeral, medical and household bills.

Angela was truly a representation of her name... She was an angel and true messenger of God to all who encounter her. To everyone who knew her knew she was blessing and privilege to have done life with, now we ask to please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Hello, I would like to introduce myself, I am Diana Rodriguez and with a hopeful heart I am asking for your consideration to help Angela Torres with the unexpected medical, household and family expenses she and her family has sustained after her Stage 4 Cancer diagnosis she received early 2023. Angela has been battling her cancer with hope and faith for the complete restoration of her health and she is still not going to give up the fight. Although with all of this going on in her life, time has come for us to ask from friends, family, and our community for her continued support. With unforeseen recent complication with her insurance going forward Angela is at a standstill for any future drainage or surgery assistance she would need to continue her fight for her life.

So, you may hear my heart and see what I see let me tell you who Angela Torres is… Angela is a daughter, a sister, and a mother; she has 4 children and has also been raising 2 other children as her own. Angela is an angel of woman that sees you for who you are. She has done amazing things for the families and women in our YWCA shelter. Angela embodies the representation of seeing the unseen, loving the rejected and feeding the hungry when others would just turn away. Her personality is BIG, LOUD and BEAUITFUL; she is genuine with everyone she encounters. Ever since I met her back in September of 2021, I was told she would be a difficult person to work with and honestly, I can see why… no one including myself wants to see or hear the truth. Although I wouldn’t want it any other way; she challenged me to become a better leader, individual, mother, friend, and coworker. I am grateful for the opportunity she gave me to learn from her in an industry I was considering and now work for. Everywhere I went alongside her, people would tell me how grateful they were for her help whether it was with their home loan goals or a case she would take a stand with at court docket or the extra things she would do when no one else saw. She is truly a woman of courage, strength and hope for all who meet her. If money is tight and you are unable to give, please consider sending prayers or even a meal to the family. Let us all rally up together and assist this strong, courageous, powerful woman that needs our love and support during these difficult times.
