Cherish's Wish
Donation protected
Hello everyone!
My little sister Cherish, who is 11 years old, is currently in Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in Brisbane.
On Friday mum took her in to the Hervey Bay hospital for stomach pain, only for them to realise she has a 21cm 10kg tumor in her ovaries. Cherish was then put on the hospital plane and flown straight to Brisbane for treatment.
Further testing was done over the weekend and start of the week and was discovered to be stage 4 spread to lungs and pelvis. The amazing doctor said it's curable but a long road ahead. Cherish started Chemo on Wednesday to shrink the tumor as much as possible before surgery to remove it.
Our Cherish has a long road ahead of her and our family is needing to stay in Brisbane for a while. My mum is having to sell her business as she needs to stay at the hospital. Funds are really low at the moment.
Cherish has one wish for once she is better, she would love to go on holiday to visit Tasmania, where she was born, and be able to relax and recover after such a long and painful ordeal. We are all working hard to make that wish a reality for her.
Our Cherish is an amazing kind soul who mentioned to us yesterday how much she would love to be able to give some of the other children in her ward gifts during their brave fights as well. We would love to be able to help her with this wish.
Any help financially would be so appreciated for our family in this very difficult time. We are solely focused on getting Cherish better, but there are still bills that need to be paid.
Thankyou from our entire family for any help xx
