Fight for Knight (Cancer)

Hello everybody. Everybody who knows Knight is aware of what an amazing puppy he is.

About a year and a half ago, we located a bump on his shoulder recently, and after diagnosis from our trusted animal doctors, we are sad to say it is a Mast Cell Tumor. We were so grateful for all the support we received from everyone we were able to get the surgery with clean margins and he recovered wonderfully.

Unfortunately, I recently noticed another bump on his neck, and after lab tests, we were informed Wednesday that the cancer is back. The surgery, labs and treatment is a bit pricey, but I will do whatever it takes to help my baby. We are so grateful to have such wonderful people supporting us emotionally through this. Knight is a rescue pup. I’ve had the pleasure of being his mom from the time his ears were too big for his face and his paws look like they didn’t belong on such a small pup. When I first took him home they told me he was going to be about 50 pounds, that he was going to be aggressive around food and people and especially not to let him around kids. Well, I understand the warnings they have to give, but he’s the friendliest dog I’ve ever met, and that’s not just with me. That’s with everyone he meets. He loves people; he loves kids; he loves other animals, especially squirrels who don’t seem to like to play with him. He’s closer to 90+lbs. He does everything every day just to make people happy. I’m so thankful for him.
