Fight for Kyle: A Warrior, a Husband, a Father, Our Everything
Some people make the world brighter just by being in it. Kyle doesn’t just brighten the world—he fills it with laughter, love, and warmth. He’s the guy with the biggest smile, the most contagious laugh, and a heart so full of kindness that everyone who meets him instantly feels like family.
A loving son, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. A high school football star who went on to play Division 1 at Oregon, yet remained the most humble person in the room. A man who lives for the outdoors—hiking, biking, boating, concerts, camping and soaking in every bit of life’s adventure. The life of the party, always armed with a perfectly timed one-liner. The guy who never says no to dessert. And now, his most cherished title of all—Dad.
Kyle’s world changed forever when he and his wife, Laura, welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Charlie. She was only three months old when they received the devastating news: Kyle was diagnosed with one of the rarest, most aggressive cancers in the world—so rare that only 10-15 people have ever been diagnosed with it.
Stage 4 Renal Medullary Carcinoma.
He continues to fight with everything he has. His parents, Jeff and Karen, have never left his side. And for a while, the treatment was working. But in his last PET scan, the unthinkable happened—the cancer had spread to his lungs, liver, stomach, and other vital organs.
And yet, even now, Kyle is still Kyle. Still smiling. Still hopeful. Still fighting.
Along with his parents, Laura has been by his side through it all—his rock, his strength, his unwavering light. She’s been fighting for him while raising their little girl, who may look like her mama but is Daddy’s little shadow.
For over a year, Kyle has been unable to work as he wages this battle. The financial strain of insurance fights, countless treatments, therapies, and testing has been overwhelming. But giving up has never been an option.
Kyle deserves more time. Charlie deserves more time with her daddy. Laura deserves more time with her husband.
We refuse to let this fight end here. We will pursue every treatment, every option, every single chance to keep Kyle with us.
And we need your help.
Every donation goes directly toward life-saving treatments, specialized therapies, and the ongoing fight for Kyle’s life. Every dollar is a step toward hope. Every share is a way to rally more people to stand with us.
We will never stop fighting.
We will never, ever give up.
Kyle has spent his life giving his love and light to others. Now, it’s our turn to give it back to him.
Donate. Share. Fight for Kyle.
