Fight for Justice, to speak about Jesus in Israel
Donation protected
On 20th Feb we went to Israel and for the first time were stopped at the border. Immigration pulled us into a room and asked us why we were visiting Israel, and I explained that I had a few reasons to be there and mentioned that I speak to people about Jesus.
The Immigration officer told me that it was missionary work, which was prohibited in Israel. I told him that it wasn’t illegal and that I didn’t belong to a church or religious organisation. However he refused us entry and has banned us from entering 10 years.
We exercised our right to appeal this decision and spent a day in a detention centre and a lawyer said that we should fight it from England.
We have found a lawyer (the best in Israel). It’s very costly but he said he will win this case and that what we are fighting for is democracy and the right to speak freely about our faith in Israel.
A pastor in Israel has also told me to fight this and said that we are not only fighting for ourselves but the body of Christ and our right to speak freely about our Lord and Saviour.
We plan to take this all the way. Our lawyer said that this case will change things in Israel and have an impact on many, many Christians in years to come.
We are committed to this for freedom to speak freely about Jesus in his own land.
I will keep you updated as we embark on this fight for Jesus and the Body of Christ.
Thank you for all your prayers and support. I pray the Lord bless you.
God bless you all.
