Fight for Yanik's Stroke Recovery

Help our father and loving husband in his journey to recover from massive stroke. Our family's life changed on May 20th this year when my father got a massive stroke. He was a truck driver and the accident happened while he was on duty driving near Springfield, IL. Luckily my mom managed to take control over the truck and save them both of the worst that could happen. He was admitted in Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL and one month ago he was transferred to Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village, IL to continue his treatment. Since having the stroke my father went through two life-saving surgeries and numerous medical procedures. The stroke left his right side of the body paralyzed and unable to walk, to speak, and to understand. Still, to this date he is hospitalized and medical expenses are growing. He is scheduled for third surgery in August and we all are praying to God and hope for the best. My mom and I are going through a lot and we emotionally and financially exhausted. We spend all of our savings in the past two months due to medical bills and staying one month in Springfield Hospital, away from home. I am full-time college student and I have part-time job and I am unable to help much with the situation. My mom is not able to go back to her job as she is full-time taking care of my father. The whole situation is very stressful and painful for us, and we don't know how to get out of it. We believe there are good, kind, and goodhearted people who can help us in that critical situation. He needs long-term rehabilitation in order to start speaking, understanding, and walking again. We all dream to see him making his first steps and hear his voice again.
