Fight Leukemia with Evelyn!

Ryan, a dedicated Deputy Sheriff serving in our local Sheriff’s Office, has consistently gone the extra mile to aid others. Now, as he faces a challenging time, it's our opportunity to extend our support to Ryan and his family.

Recently, his two-year-old daughter, Evelyn, fell ill unexpectedly and was swiftly diagnosed with b-cell leukemia upon admission to the hospital. On Wednesday, March 27th, Evelyn underwent her fifth blood transfusion, hopefully marking the conclusion of this treatment. Following a successful surgery which included procedures such as bone marrow and spinal fluid sampling, Evelyn also had an injection port installed in her chest. Despite enduring these medical procedures, Evelyn received her first chemotherapy treatment that same night. As Evelyn is recuperating from her first chemo session which took place on March 28th, her next dose was scheduled for Saturday, March 30th. Should she not experience adverse reactions, she may return home the following night or Sunday morning. Yet, this marks merely the beginning of Evelyn's battle against this devastating illness.

Throughout Evelyn's journey to recovery, the family will confront numerous financial challenges, including uncovered medical expenses, co-pays, and the strain of missed workdays. Additionally, they'll incur expenses related to travel, childcare for Evelyn's elder sister, and managing everyday life amidst their daughter's treatment. As we witness Evelyn's brave fight against leukemia, it's evident that her family could benefit from our collective support. By contributing, we can help alleviate some of the financial burdens they face, allowing them to focus wholeheartedly on Evelyn's care and recovery.
