Help Darnell Deering Fight Lewy Body Dementia

My Husband, Darnell Deering, has been struggling with health issues over the past several months. Finally after many tests and doctor appointments, his Neurologist gave him the devastating diagnosis of “Dementia with Lewy bodies”, aka Lewy Body Dementia. Which is the second progressive disease after Alzheimer’s. Darnell just 49 years of age and will be turning 50 in May.
His symptoms have it where he can no longer drive or work. Darnell has been a truck driver for 20 years and has lost his CDL’s to this disease. As the Sole Provider for his wife, Rashonda, and 1 daughter Alanna (15), 1 granddaughter (1 ½) Layla which he is helping raise. He also has three other children which are young adults. I 've had to take off many days to take him to his doctors appointments or just not being able to go to work because of sitting at home with him. This is a very hard situation on the family because someone has to be with him at all times.
He has applied for SSDI but that process is long and for approval there is no set date if and when he will be approved. This Go Fund Me Campaign is a way to help provide for some immediate financial relief with monthly expenses, upcoming medical bills and pharmacy because his Medical Insurance through his employer whom is no longer employed at ends on February 26, 2021. This will be assistance to help with the cost to support his family and cover the cost for any medical bills that occur. Since we are unsure to how long it will take for his Social Security Disability to start. This will help with his expenses for approximately 6 months.
Anything you can do to help and no amount is too small, would be very much appreciated.
