Fight Like A Girl - Amy Kunicki

Donation protected
In June of 2020 Amy Kunicki was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. She has spent the last 2 years fighting the good fight. Amy never complained and never let her diagnosis or treatment stop her from doing what she wanted to do.

Amy continued to lead her Cub Scout den and help the entire pack. Amy continued to drive her #6 school bus through treatments. So dedicated to her students, she would do her morning run before heading to a treatment.

Sadly, in January, Amy took a turn. She started having trouble breathing, had to be hospitalized for 9 days and came home on oxygen. During this time, her biggest concern was getting back to her scout den and driving her bus.

This past week, Amy was taken back to the hospital for a new complication. She has been placed in the ICU and on a ventilator. We are not sure what the outlook will be and hope for good news each day.

Amy is a loving wife to her husband, Rick. They have three beautiful children, Cecily (16), Brennan (14), and Caleb (10), All of them just want Amy to come home.

After two years of treatment, medical costs have mounted. With the newest development comes a loss of income for the family and we do not know what to expect for expenses going forward.
