Fight Like Mike - Melanoma

Hello! I am Sam, Sam I am and here to help raise money for Mike I am! I have known Mike for most of my life at this point. We used to be roomies, attached at the hip and even to this day he is still one of my favorite people! Mike will do anything and Everything he can for anyone who needs him without a second thought. Mike has worked in many places throughout our community and left an impact at each place. He is currently living in North Dakota and working for the postal service there after working at the one here in town and transferring.

Unfortunately around December when he had a mole on the side of his head that was gradually growing. He didn’t think anything of it since has always had multiple moles on his head but it got him thinking when his hairdresser mentioned that it was getting darker and then his final clue that he needed to get it checked out was when it started to bleed and would not heal. He made an appointment for it to be removed, and waited two weeks until July 3rd, 2023 and that is when he got the phone call that changed his world. Micheal has skin cancer, and while they have already removed the majority of the mole, he will have to go back in on July 27th to have the rest of the cells removed from his head and then will have an oncologist visit to figure out plans for chemo and any other treatment he might need.

While Michael is still working right now, he will soon need to take the time off to get treatment, and his insurance will not cover everything. So now he needs our help! If you know Mike, you know he does not like to ask for help... So I am doing it for him! As of now he will have dye map testing on July 18th, He will have surgery on the 27th in North Dakota, and then see an oncologist on August 2nd to find out the next part of treatment as well as if the lymph nodes test showed signs of it being anywhere else besides that one mole.
