Fight Lymphoma with Jodi!

Hi everyone, my name is Jaden Ruicci and I am starting this fundraiser for my beautiful mom Jodi Lagace. My mom is 47 years old and the best mom of three of us (me and my two younger brothers).

At the beginning of February, my mom Jodi discovered a lump which revealed that she has stage 3 Follicular lymphoma. She has been so incredibly strong and positive but of course, the upcoming treatments are scary as hell. She will be starting an aggressive chemotherapy treatment within the coming weeks, as her lymphoma has become an aggressive, rapidly growing variant of follicular lymphoma.

Jodi currently resides in Manitoulin Island, a very small island in Northern Ontario. Thankfully, she has been receiving awesome care from her doctors in Sudbury, about an hour and a half away from her. Unfortunately though, this comes with pretty hefty travel costs, as the consistent travel there and back adds up incredibly quickly. Furthermore, having family travel there and back is even pricier, making it hard for us to go up and see her.

Thankfully, she has her wonderful husband Adam Lagace to take care of her and bring her to her appointments and such, but he needs support as well.

My mom is a literal angel and all I want is to help take some of the pressures of money and stress off her back, especially considering prices are quite high up North for groceries and gas. I’d also love to be able to buy her a nice wig, as my mom has always expressed herself through her fashion and her hair and to provide her with a wig that would make her feel like herself would be amazing.
