Fight Not Fright - Help Beven Kick Cancer's Butt
Donation protected
On October 8th 2020 Beven Byrnes received news that turned her world upside down - the lump she had recently found was an aggressive form of breast cancer that had already spread to her lymphnodes - within days she would have the diagnosis of Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Beven is now facing the battle of her life and she is determined to lean into the fight and kick cancer's butt!
Beven is a mother of 4 (Jasper 22, Gracie 18, Daphne 4, Dahlia 4), dedicated middle school principal and community advocate. Through her work and personal life she has made a positive impact on many people and we now have the opportunity to offer her support as she faces this challenge head on and embarks on her journey of healing.
On behalf of friends, community members and family I invite you to join us in helping our dear Beven! With an already stretched household budget and one child starting college, we are raising funds in hopes of alleviating pressure from the medical bills and care expenses which are already mounting.
Those of you who know Beven know her to be tenacious and determined. She is committed to winning this battle while maintaining a hopeful and positive outlook. As of October 28th Beven began 4 months of chemotherapy treatment after which she will have surgery and likely more months of chemotherapy and radiation ahead.
Through this time she will continue to work for her beloved school as much as possible while also caring for her children. With a combination of our support and her endless grit and positivity, we are confident that she will win this battle!
Please join us in helping support someone that has changed the lives of so many students, families, and friends for the better!
