Fight Sarcoma: Help Mega fight cancer

Hi, My name is Beulah Alexander; I am fundraising for one of my close friends of eight years who is ill with Sarcoma Cancer.  We went to College together in India in 2015.  Our friendship continued when she immigrated to Canada. We went to Lambton College in Ontario, Canada.   This fundraising is to help Megashnee with her expenses while fighting Sarcoma Cancer. 

Megashnee is a 25 years old young south Indian girl from Kerala, India. She is the only child of her parents living in India. She moved to Canada 2 years ago with dreams and hopes of building a bright future. She successfully graduated in International Business Management and pursued her career as a Health Insurance Advisor. She was an active volunteer with the Red Cross in India. She joined a Lions Club in Mississauga, Ontario, to continue her volunteerism in Canada.

Her parents are in India, and she has no immediate family in Canada.  During this crucial time of her life, the Lions Club President has volunteered to be her guardian in Canada until her parents arrive to be with her.

 

Megashnee is a cheerful, kind, ambitious, and independent young woman.

In May 2022, at 24 years old, she has diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer.  Megashnee underwent surgery to remove a tumour.  A few weeks later, Megashnee was stricken with excruciating pain and was admitted to the hospital.  After further tests, she was informed that the tumour was cancerous.  The diagnosis was very devastating to her. 

She was referred to an Oncologist.  The treatment started with radiation.  Presently, she is being treated with (ongoing) chemotherapy

She suffered an emotional setback and financial disarray in a short period. Your financial assistance will help to reduce the emotional and financial stress she is enduring and to navigate life with one less problem during this critical phase.

She is a strong young woman and is fighting cancer like a champion. As you can imagine, her family is devastated by the news in India. However, when she moved here, she applied for a student loan to support her education in Canada. We are waiting for her 65-year-old mom to obtain a super visa to move to Canada and take care of her during this very challenging time.
