Stage Four Pancreatic Cancer

Mama was admitted into the hospital on Thursday, in CCU until Saturday, and discharged yesterday. Her condition is worsening and her team was struggling to manage her pain/nausea. But she is the strongest person I know, and overcame every obstacle thrown at her this last week. Even ate two full meals and cleaned her own hospital room (to everyone’s dismay). Her doctors found a combination of medications that improve her comfort and gave the all clear for home. She will be reevaluated this upcoming week for chemotherapy treatments.

Her diagnosis is terminal, rare, incurable, and aggressive; she’s only just started chemotherapy and pain management treatments.
