The coronavirus has hit us hard and the NHS and Carers are doing an extraordinary job. It is tough for everyone, in every hospital and every care home. They are fighting the invisible enemy day in and day out. Truly inspirational work every minute of the day.
We have all seen the headlines, seen the extremely upsetting videos from emergency workers, begging for the appropriate Protection equipment). What our NHS workers are doing is the humanitarian mission of our lifetime and now we can all do something to help.
But let them know that they are not alone. We are in this together, and with your help we can support our heroes. Help both your NHS and local care homes continue to fight the virus, help them remain safe, protect them and their families. Help us bring the certified protection that they deserve to them quickly.
The virus is moving fast, so to support the frontline staff we need to move even faster.
Pledge your support today, donate today, direct from your home. From self-isolation to self-made hero.
FAQs
Where will my money go?
50% of our donation goes to the Clap for the NHS campaign whilst the other 50% is used to purchase protection supplies for care homes.
What Protection will be purchased?
This will be dictated by the care homes and what they are in urgent need of which is current hand sanitising gel which have skyrocketed in price. We ensure that they receive the stock they require without having to make difficult compromises elsewhere in their care.
Shouldn't the government be doing this?
The UK's national stockpiles reserved for pandemic influenza have already been released and will soon run out. The coronavirus epidemic is generating unprecedented global demand on the medical supply chain, combined with manufacturing slowdown in affected countries, we're doing what we can to provide any amount of help possible.
