Fight for Justice for Ginger

My name is Akaina, and I am currently living through every pet parent's worst nightmare. I left my beloved Ginger with a pet sitter I found through Rover Pet Sitting. The pet sitter removed Ginger's collar (which possessed an active GPS tracker), and proceeded to lose my kind, loving pet. My family searched for her diligently, speaking with neighbors, posting fliers, and reaching thousands of people through online platforms who gave their time and energy to the cause. Despite our best efforts, we found Ginger's body about a mile from the pet sitter's home.

We are looking into every possible legal action that can be taken, and we could use your support to help. Even if you are only able to donate $1, we want to make sure those responsible realize how many people are devoted to finding accountability for this act of gross negligence. Our community is extraordinarily loving and supportive, and we will find strength and awareness in numbers.

Beyond this individual incident, we are looking into the legal mechanisms behind prosecuting animal negligence, and will continue to update with information and petitions that will prevent others from suffer the same fate.
