Fight To Rebuild Hope: RCP Mutual Emergency Appeal

At Rohingya Community Partners - RCP, we firmly believe that the plight of the Rohingya people is one of the most widely recognized humanitarian crises in the world. According to UN reports, the Rohingya are among the most persecuted communities globally.

For over 70 years, our people have faced relentless persecution, culminating in the 2017 atrocities when the Myanmar government committed systematic genocide and crimes against humanity. Over 1.3 million Rohingya were forced to flee, seeking refuge in the Cox's Bazar Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh.

Life in the camps is far from humane. Basic rights and opportunities are restricted or outright denied:

Education is limited.

Healthcare is scarce.

Livelihood opportunities are almost non-existent.

Access to humanitarian jobs, businesses, and capacity-building platforms is prohibited.

This dire situation pushes many to risk dangerous journeys in search of safety and opportunity. Migrants often face drowning, kidnappings, or death. Those left behind suffer from deteriorating mental health, poverty, and rising gender-based violence. Without income or hope, many youths are forced into illegal activities, further destabilizing the community.

Natural disasters such as landslides, floods, fires, and earthquakes compound these challenges, claiming lives and displacing families seasonally.
