Fight with Evan

That moment that you realize that nothing- NOTHING- that you thought was so important actually is and life is put into perspective.

Yesterday my sweet, stubborn, strong, smart, sassy little 2 year old boy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Yes. LEUKEMIA.

Words cannot describe this- literally in a blink of an eye our lives are forever changed.

However, we will fight. We have an absolutely amazing group of friends and family across this country that are on Team Evan. I cannot express how grateful I am for the outpouring of love and and support we have already received and I know will receive in the future. We are at a fantastic hospital (Children’s Hospital of Atlanta) with literally 3 teams of doctors-specialists-nurses-support staff…all these people whose sole focus is to get Evan through this and well again.

I would set the world on fire for the ones that I love and I love my children with my entire heart. We will fight and we WILL get my sweet baby through this.

None of it will be easy but the things that are worth it never are. Please keep Evan and his brothers and sister in your prayers… their lives are going to be affected as much as his is. And if not prayers then send some positive energy to the universe for us
