Fight with Livi!

Donation protected
Liv is a 4th grade student at St. Pats in Decatur, IL. She lives with her mom (Andrea), her dad (Jaron), her two younger sisters (Sofia 9, Evelyn 6), and her two dogs Captain and Smoky. She loves to hang out with her friends, anything artsy crafts, especially sewing, playing basketball with the Skywalker program, playing soccer, and has been a girl scout since she was a daisy. If you meet her on the road, she's sure to put a smile on your face.

Unfortunately, Liv has been dealt a hard hand. Back in February 2014, she was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. She went through treatment at St. Jude's from February 2014 until March 2015. After her treatment, she had to go for monthly checkups in Memphis and then yearly. In 2020, she was told she was in remission.

Since then, she's been living her best life as a healthy, sassy, sweet little girl. In December, her parents' worst nightmare happened; they found a lump on her jaw on the same side that she had gotten radiation on in the past. They went to her doctor hear in town but due to the strain covid has put on the hospitals here, they were unable to get in for a CT scan until January 3rd. The scans got sent to St Jude's immediately and she was asked to come down for further testing. An MRI confirmed their worst fears, that her cancer is back. She will be returning to St Jude's to begin fighting this week.

Livie doesn't do anything without all her heart, so we have so much faith that she'll be able to beat this again. In the meantime, her family is going to need all the help they can get. Liv will be moving into a house in Memphis, TN with her mom. Her dad and sisters will be staying here in Decatur, IL trying to keep life as normal as possible. So, what this means is they will be trying to keep up paying rent, utilities and bills on both homes; all while dealing with a sick child, and two little girls who miss their mom and sister.

We will be posting t-shirts for sale this week and ALL profits will go directly to an account set up in Olivia's name (Olivia Dunker Benefit) at Land of Lincoln Bank. We also will be planning a benefit and asking local business for donations and help.

In the meantime, any donation you make will help take a little stress off Andrea's shoulders so she can focus on adjusting to their new normal. Donations can be made through the GoFundMe page or be brought/mailed directly to Land of Lincoln Bank.
