Fight with Lynnette against Stomach Cancer

Donation protected

❤️

My name is Amanda Dahmes, the oldest daughter of Laura Winter, and Niece of Lynnette's.
Pictured above is my aunt Lynnette alongside her youngest great-nephew Cameron.

My aunt was diagnosed with Stage 4 Gastric Adenocarcinoma (Stomach Cancer) on Sept 19th.

It's been overwhelming and uncertain for them. Lynnette has not been able to go to work driving truck since July 18th 2023 .

Before then she struggled with feeling sick and having stomach pains, Exhausted, weight loss (over 65lbs) and eventually throwing up blood.

She went in 3 previous times with concerns. One of those visits was an overnight. After being discharge with no understanding what was going on she went home.

This is what led to her going into a different Hospital. She was immediately admitted. After further testing on Sept 19th we found out she had Stomach Cancer .
We didn't know what stage or if it had spread. We only knew we had to stop the internal bleeding from the tumor.
On Sept 28th we found out that it was stage 4 and no longer operable.

Trying to Stay hopeful and positive even during those moments of difficulty.

Lynnette is going to undergo radiation and chemotherapy.
She won't be able to work but now focus on time together, resting/healing, treatments.

They have now moved to Brandon Minnesota, from Fargo to be closer to family for support.
During the closing of the home the previous owners had trashed the property and left it for us to clean up. With her health and the urgency since her notice to move was given. They would end up homeless. So we accepted the property and it took two dumpsters full to clean out the property. Everything had to be redone inside which was great for her health.Considering the conditions we were left with but this took everything they had.

Jack is no longer able to drive his Semi working. It came down to the care of his wife and a payment. So he is looking for local position understanding with our families needs.

He is currently looking for employment that can work around the needs our family needs. Lynette feels pressured to stop chemo to go back to work.. sounds like her huh. :) But re reassure her that God will provide ❤️

We have had people ask to setup a gofundme so they can help with day-to-day living expenses, medical bills, etc. But now its more. With the stage of cancer that she's at we don't know how long she will be with us.

If you feel inclined to donate, you may do so here.
