Fight2HoneyMoon - Caleigh & Bryan
Donation protected
Thanks to all of your help we have been featured Nationally on NBC , Daily News, and Cosmopolitan!
Appreciate everyone being so patient during this campaign for updates! Saturday October 28th at 3:30PM, Caleigh and Bryan became official husband and wife and we cannot be more blessed to have such an amazing crowd of family and friends to witness their love and emotional vows!!
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOU SUPPORT THUS FAR! Given the momentum we currently have, we want to take this opportunity to increase the funds raised to address the the following:
1. Given state insurance, Caleigh does not have access to coverage in Hawaii. Treatments Caleigh will need include 24/7 on call care, daily bolus of water for kidney hydgtration, blood labs to track anti-rejection levels, and any unexpected events that may occur
2. Pay it forward event - While enjoying the opportunity enabled by these funds, they would like to also use it as an opportunity to spread awareness by donating services / funds to a CF or transplant-related cause
3. Leftover funds will be utilized to cover Caleigh’s costly day to day medical requirements and what is to come with the possibility of a second life-saving double-lung transplant.
Your generosity is overwhelming. Help us continue raising the bar to support this worthy cause!
With love,
The Three Amigos - Caleigh, Bryan, and Tiffany
My name is Tiffany Au and I am honored and humbled to be standing by my beautiful friend and role model on her wedding day! Caleigh, iconic @fight2breathe on social media, shares the same genetic condition as my fiance, Caleb, called cystic fibrosis (CF). For those unfamiliar with CF, it is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent infections, sticky buildup of mucus in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Spending the last 9 years in and out of the hospital, this fierce, charismatic, and loving human has been on a 5 month battle fighting rejection from her first double lung transplant.
Caleigh and soon-to-be hubby, Bryan, had a complete shift in perspective after her October 20th, 2017 visit with her transplant team. It has come to the point where they both have chosen to focus on optimizing all the time they have together. Originally planning for an engagement party on October 28th, they decided it felt right to take the leap of faith and tie-the-knot in 7 days instead! #quickestplanningever
The community has graciously come together to support this last minute union of the two with donated venue, food, makeup, entertainment, hair, wedding dress, dessert, coordination, treats and so much more! There has been nothing but disbelieve and outpouring gratitude for these giving companies and individuals! Others have been asking how else they can help and contribute to the newlyweds. The two weren't originally planning on taking a trip, but we insisted that we help create a HONEYMOON FUND to Hawaii for 10 days (for those who have been following her journey and read on her hospitalization in Hawaii last year -- don't worry, they have been given approval).
All unused funds and extra monies raised will go straight to assisting medical bills for her and others. **I will withdraw the funds personally and give directly to Caleigh and Bryan!
