No one fights alone.

In October of 2018 Shantel Ploen was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer at the young age of 33.

She found out about the cancer in the worst way. After suffering a miscarriage and a week of a team of doctors trying to figure out what had happened they finally discovered a huge tumor in her colon that was blocking her by more than 90%.

We have setup this GoFundMe campaign in order to help offset the financial burden they are going to be facing in the upcoming months.

If chemotherapy continues to go well like it has been she is going to have another surgery that can take up to 16 hours to remove parts of her abdominal wall and possibly liver that have become cancerous after spreading from the main Tumor that was removed a little over two months ago.

She is facing a minimum of two weeks in the hospital at Mayo in Rochester Minnesota and more time of recovery at home before she will be able to return to work.
