Fighting Cancer with Phil

Our incredible friend and warrior, Phil Mumford, has been fighting an aggressive stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer with all he has since being diagnosed in July 2021. His amazing wife and biggest cheerleader, Tammy has been by his side every step of the way!

Phil has endured 2 rounds of chemotherapy which has not been successful in clearing his body of the cancer. Most recently, doctors discovered a lymphatic tumor in his brain… BUT GOD!

He is currently in the hospital at UNC Chapel Hill to prepare for his 3rd round of chemo and to harvest cells for an extensive therapy (CAR T Cell Therapy) which will require him to be at the Chapel Hill Cancer center for 6-8 weeks.

We obviously are not able to take the treatments for Phil or “fix” this for them… but we can help them financially.

They have current expenses that total over $20,000. The CAR T therapy coming up in January requires them to be within 30 miles of the Chapel Hill hospital for up to 8 weeks, so they will need to pay for an air b-n-b for that time, as well as more medical bills that are coming in. As you can imagine, the financial side of this is extremely daunting! So here’s a way for us to pool our resources and help Phil

and Tammy fight this battle and for them to know they are not alone!
