Fighting For Her Life- Andrea Richardson

Dear friends, family and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Tyson Richardson and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit. My wife Andrea “Dre”, young son David and I are incredibly humbled and grateful that you are taking the time to read our story. Last Sunday evening our lives were forever altered by a sudden stroke suffered by Dre.

She had a blood clot form in her brain which created a significant amount of blood building up and eventually led to a massive stroke. Through the past week Dre has continued to fight through 4 brain surgeries, numerous scans and treatments. Our 2 year old son David has been able to go to his pre-school class and keep his normal routine for the most part. He knows his mommy is sick, but doesn’t understand the severity. I have been living at the hospital an hour from home and am doing my best to juggle all of this.

The medical bills are piling up, and the emotional toll on our family is immeasurable. While we have been doing our best to manage these challenges, we humbly turn to you for assistance. We are starting a GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the financial burden that comes with extended hospital says, medical treatment and childcare for David. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact in Dre’s medical support.
