Fighting For Lori Branch!!
Donation protected
Friends and family of our dear friend Lori Meissner Branch. I have started a GoFundMe for Her. I know Lori would be so appreciative of any help, whether it be monetary, dinners, or prayers. Some of you might have read her post earlier, which I have copied and pasted below. Lori was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. Although Lori has a doctor here, we have researched other oncology neurosurgeons that have treated patients with a similar diagnosis. These are some of the best neurosurgeons in the world. The problem is one is in California and the other is @ Cornell in NY. Probably two of the highest cost of living areas in the US. This is where we can all help Lori and her family. If Lori decides to travel to one of these specialists, we will need to secure a place to stay for her family members. Regardless of where she chooses to fight this battle, there will be so many expenses that insurance doesn’t cover and Lori is unable to work. Please keep Lori, Greg, Amanda, and Brooke in your prayers. They are all so dear to my heart. Please feel free to reach out to me personally (407) [phone redacted]

My dear FB family and friends...
I’m usually rather private on here and don’t post much about my personal life, but this is too much for me to battle on my own so I need your help. I was diagnosed with brain cancer a few days ago. I’m still in a state of shock along with my family. I started having a bad headache late last week and then a couple days later woke up with left side weakness. Went to the ER and everyone thought I was having a stroke, but when CT scan came back ok they admitted me and did a MRI the next day and that’s when they found the tumor. It’s in a very bad spot (on my right thalamus gland) so the neurosurgeons here tell me it’s inoperable. They are even scared to do a biopsy because of the location and my tumor is very vascular which makes a brain bleed a strong possibility during just a biopsy. The neurosurgeon presented my case in front of the tumor board (panel of oncology experts) Thursday morning and they decided to go ahead with a biopsy because it’s such a vital part in my treatment . We have to wait ten days though because thy gave me a bunch of aspirin in the hospital when they thought I was having a stroke . So my biopsy looks like it will be Tuesday the 25th. Please add me to your prayers. This is going to be a long battle , but I will beat it! I WILL turn 50 in May, I WILL be here to watch Brooke graduate , I WILL be here to have Amanda’s first legal drink when she turns 21 in October and many other fun times! Thank you for your love and support! XO
