Fighting The Big C - Help Wendy Huizar Son

Hi, my name is Shannon McEntire, and I created this page with my Mercy coworkers to help raise money to support our coworker Wendy Huizar and her family. Wendy's 15-year-old son, Karim William Garcia was recently diagnosed with an inoperable malignant tumor behind his right eye. At this time Karim's doctors have recommended radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Wendy is a dedicated single mother of 3 children and does not have enough paid time off to take care of Karim during this difficult time. We need to raise money to help Wendy pay her monthly bills and for any additional costs, Karim's treatments may cause. Wendy is not the type of person to ask for money, but she is in an impossible situation. Our hope is for Wendy to focus on Karim and her family at this time and not have to worry about her financial situation.
