Fighting the Impossible: another day for Subhra
Waking up to a lazy Friday morning, Subhra complained of breathing issues. What we all thought to be a simple asthma related breathing trouble turned into a month long ordeal that comprised of two ER visits, 19 days hospitalization, and culminating in diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer that has spread to the space around Subhra's lungs and to her bones.
Subhra (my mom) is a life-long fighter who is now facing the uphill ride in the battle against this deadly incurable disease. Unfortunately, none of Subhra's outpatient visits, procedures, treatments are covered by the meager insurance she was able to get and hence we request you to kindly consider helping us, anything will go a long way! We are relying on compassionate care and support from you to give Subhra another day in life where she can spend time with loved ones, especially with her beloved two grandkids!
Thank you for your kind consideration!
Warm regards
Anindo Chatterjee (son of Subhra Chatterjee)
