Help Coach Sonia in her Fight Against Cancer

As some of our RAMily has noticed, Fordham WBB assistant coach Sonia Burke has not been on the sidelines with us for most of this season. She has been away from the team after being diagnosed with a rare cancerous tumor and has been undergoing treatment. Although physically separated, she has played an active role in game preparation and practice as much as she can. True to her nature, she is fighting this diagnosis every step of the way! 


As difficult as this disease has been for Sonia to fight, it has also been very difficult financially. The treatment she is undergoing is financially demanding and she gets roughly three new medical bills almost daily. In light of this, we are asking the basketball community to consider a donation in support of Sonia.
