Fight Like Hail

Hailey Parker is a beautiful, loving, and witty 10 year old girl. She is an extremely talented dancer, who loves nothing more than choreographing her own dance routines with the help of “From The Top Dance” studio, her cousins and friends. Her favorite artist is Taylor Swift and she likely knows every word to all of her songs. She loves jokes, both telling them and hearing them; she loves to laugh! Hailey loves to go to the beach, jump the waves, and play in the sand. She has a passion for entertaining her parents with skits and sing-a-longs. And loves spending time surrounded by her family and dog Parker! Her smile will light up any room and warm any heart.
I'm sure all of these things may describe the average 10 year old girl; however, this 10 year old girl is also in the midst of fighting to cure her cancer.
In early March, Hailey was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma brain tumor cancer. She underwent surgery at Children Hospital of Philadelphia to remove as much of the tumor in her brain as was possible. Following surgery, Hailey completed some intensive physical therapy to regain full motion on the left side of her body which was compromised by the invasive surgery. She is currently undergoing treatment to battle this aggressive disease, including radiation and chemotherapy. The courage and strength she has demonstrated since her diagnosis has been nothing short of amazing, but she still has a long road ahead of her.
Hailey is currently in the first cycle of treatment which will last approximately six weeks. As I'm sure you can imagine, the costs associated with this type of treatment can add up very quickly and cause a financial burden on top of the emotional burden that accompanies this type of diagnosis.
Please join the campaign to help us reach our goal by supporting Hailey and her parents, Kim and Don Parker, in any way you can. No donation is too small and we thank you in advance for your support as we come together and… FIGHT LIKE HAIL!!
