About us:
We live in Cawarral near Yeppon in Central Queensland and are proud parents of five children aged 4, 8, 10, 12 and 13 years of age. Our first family holiday was to Fiji in June 2010. We stayed a few nights in a hotel and then we went to a village for 3 nights. The village seemed like it was worlds away. We feel so blessed that our children in Australia have so many opportunities, and we now strive to give those same opportunities to children throughout the Pacific Islands.
In 2010 we registered our Not-For-Profit Charity, Pacific Smiles. Josh was born in Kadavu and and we have a lot of friends and family in Fiji. We work to bring relief throughout Fiji, the Yasawa Islands, Vanuatu and Samoa. We have delivered hundreds of backpacks filled with school equipment, maternity packs and learning implements to homes, schools and kindergartens. We have also delivered over 20 tonnes of humanitarian supplies during natural disasters.
This has all been done with no government funding, only through our own contributions and from community support.
Thank you
Sheree & Ratu Josua Rarasea
