Filip's road to recovery

Hello everyone, my name is Sebastian Vydra. I'm writing this on behalf of my brother, Filip Vydra. On the evening of March 16, 2023, Filip was involved in a severe motorcycle accident with an SUV.

Filip was airlifted from the scene to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenburg trauma center in Bethlehem, PA. He suffered a broken pelvis, broken femur, two broken ribs, and head trauma. He is currently heavily medicated in the ICU and is being stabilized from critical condition. He has a collapsed, punctured lung, internal bleeding, and, at the moment, unspecified brain injuries. He has received the first round of surgeries for his pelvis and femur, and awaiting more testing, such as MRI examinations.

Doctors are hopeful and are treating Filip based on the severity of his condition. They all agree it will be a lengthy recovery, even if all goes well. Filip will likely stay in the hospital for 2-4 weeks, followed by extensive inpatient rehabilitation.

Because of his condition, Filip will not be able to work for quite some time and is in need of financial support. My family and I are hoping to raise funds to cover his medical and rehabilitation process. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
