Fill The Shelves III

Greetings and welcome to my third annual Fill The Shelves drive!

In a few weeks I will be running the LA Marathon and ask you, my dear friends, to support public education, and give what you can to put books in the hands of burgeoning young minds.

I work at Luther Burbank Middle School, in Highland Park, where I teach English and coach in the Students Run Los Angeles (SRLA) program. This year I and the 18 dedicated young folks will take to the streets of LA!

Every dollar you donate will go to books and supplies for my classroom.

For the last year I've been focussed on trying to buy more non-fiction (contemporary issues) books and graphic novels, but I am always buying novels as well. If there's a particular book that you would like to donate please let me know. If you have any questions about the fundraiser, please don't hesitate to reach out.
