Please Help Us With Kyra

On April 21st our beautiful baby girl Kyra was admitted to Florida Hospital for children for high fever and high white blood count. Over the course of 2 days it was determined that she had a severe case of pneumonia and was sent to ICU. It was later determined that she had Streptococcus a very dangerous form of infection invading her lung. She was put on antibiotics, and over the course of her 21+ days in the hospital she suffered a collapsed lung, and had a tube inserted into her lung to release almost 2 liters of fluid within her time in the hospital.
On May 6th, Kyra had undergo surgery to remove gunk buildup that the tube could not remove. It was yet another scary and trying time for Kyra and our family.
Kyra, came home to us on May 11, weak, fragile and underweight due to all the blood withdrawal, x-rays, cat scans, antibiotics, tube insertions, surgery and laying in bed for so many days. We are happy to have her back home with us and look forward to her continued improvements and healthy recovery.
As many of you may know, my wife and I started our own business 2 years ago. Most of our time is spent, building, and servicing our business and our clients.
Due to the amount of stress and attention to our daughter, splitting our time between her and her twin brother, we lost weeks of work and ability to bring in monies that our service business normally provides. The little bit of savings we had has been spent and we find ourselves in a situation we could not foresee.
We have had hundreds of people reach out and ask, "If there is anything we (I) can do please let us (me) know." I'm a very proud person and I'm not one to ask for help, but this situation has put me in a spot that forces me to put my pride aside.
We are raising funds for appointments, medication, follow-ups, bills that have put us in financial hardship until we can catch up and have our business back on track and productive.
