Support Short-Film 'Natalina Woods'

UPDATE: Short Film titled NATALINA WOODS *

Hello everyone, Suzka here ❤️

Scheduled for filming, anyway possible was for July with completion in September. But life rearranged all scheduling. I hate when that happens. My cancer came back in May with a vengeance. It’s been a chemo-chemo-chemo summer. I am a bit disorganized and a whole lot more exhausted. But when I can actually focus and not napping, I’m writing.

I finished the script for two more short films and I am more than half way through writing the script for the full film ‘Dementialand The Movie’. I have one Hollywood producer looking at the movie proposal and I’m sending the package to another producer. Producer #2 is looking for something with heart, meaning, wildly inventive and something no one has seen before. Bingo! That’s Dementialand. Both are Award Winning producer/directors. I am excited and nervous and scared. That’s a good sign.

The package includes the first ten pages of the movie script, along with the synopsis and a letter of my intentions. The first few pages of any movie script is crucial. If you don’t have your characters fully defined in the first 10 pages and if those pages don’t create a buzzing interest, forget it. You won’t be able to hold your audience. And more importantly, producers are going to simply toss it on the rejection pile. The first pages that I sent, are my best work.

NATALINA WOODS* will be a great short film, I am sure about that and it can easily be edited for 'Dementialand The Movie' trailer. I just need help in getting it filmed. Beside funding, any suggestions would be appreciated. New deadline. This year!

* NATALINA WOODS is a funky comedy about memory, identity and a delight in the unknown. Natalina is a visiting gypsy woman who comes to Violet in the middle of the night. Violet, caught off guard, tells her visitor "If you’re here to rob me, you’re at the wrong house. You wanna go next door." Natalina, a premium palmist and a clairvoyant, tells Violet she will soon be crossing the border. There she will meet a handsome young man, a new lover.
