Sadaqah Jariyah for Filsan Abdi Jama and Yusra Zakaria Ahmed

﷽
To Allah we belong, and to him we shall return.
We are heartbroken to share the tragic loss of Filsan and her beloved daughter Yusra, who both passed away during childbirth. In Islam, death is seen as a return to Allah’s will, and it is believed that those who die in the process of giving life, as in the case of Filsan, are considered martyrs (Shuhada). May Allah grant them both eternal peace and reward them with His infinite mercy.
The meaning of "Yusra" is "ease" as in the Quran:
فإن مع العسر يسرا. إن مع العسر يسرا
For indeed, with hardship there [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship there [will be] ease. [94:5-6]
This is a clear sign from Allah سبحانه وتعالى that:
• This is a trial from Allah and we will remain patient upon his decree and ease will certainly follow.
• We ask Allah, the Almighty, to make this a means of bringing ease to Filsan’s Akhira through "Yusra." May Allah's mercy encompass them both.
What Allah has taken belongs to Him, what He has given belongs to Him, and He has an appointed time for everyone, so let her show patience and seek her reward from Allah.”
