Final expenses, and to help lay father to rest.

Family and friends,

My name is Ben Fugate & I am reaching out on behalf of my little brother, Elisha. Despite his troubled past & extensive fight with his personal demons, he was a good person beyond it all.

On Saturday, January 28th, he was found unresponsive. He was transported to South Bend, and despite extensive work and efforts, the quality of life was beyond what anyone deserved. There were some possible contributing factors that led to this. He took a hard fall on ice and hit his head the night prior & medical staff encouraged an autopsy for possible hereditary heart conditions. He has left a medical team wholly stumped as to how he declined so quickly.

Yesterday evening, surrounded by his wife & loved ones, Elisha passed on, and now his soul is at peace. He is free from his pain, and we pray he did not suffer. Our family is not giving up hope on the search for solid answers & we will share as we gain any. With that, we have the unexpected expense of his service. Our goal is to cover the cost of transport & cremation.

We appreciate anything anyone can offer. Anything beyond that will be used to cover anything his wife and children may need in the weeks and months following. If anything, please pray for peace and healing for his family.
