Final Expenses for Dyann Krings
Donation protected
Dyann Kay Krings, 59, passed away unexpectedly last weekend at her home in La Crosse, WI.
Dy was Yvonne Steer (John Steer) and Bruce Krings’ (Barb, deceased) eldest daughter born February 5th, 1964 in Winona, MN. She was a rambunctious rebel in her youth, causing plenty of trouble with her three older brothers Brian Krings (Crystal), Keith Krings (Dawn), and Thomas Krings (Vaughn), as well as her younger sister, Linda Krings. Early in her life Dy learned how to live hard and love life. Dy had a quick mind and was always ready with a witty comeback when spending time with those she loved.
Dy was blessed in 1983 when her best friend and daughter, Brooke Kowalewski, was born. Dy always considered Brooke her closest confidant and greatest accomplishment in life. Her blessings grew when her grandchildren Amaya and Harper were born. She was a doting, generous Nana to them both, always showing up for gymnastics meets and life events.
While spending her work weeks with Dahl Automotive, her weekends were often spent outdoors with friends and family. Dy loved riding motorcycles (Harley of course), mudding in 4-wheelers, and going to the gun range. While Dy spent the last four years of her life fighting and recovering from a grade 3 astrocytoma, brain cancer, that time did not define her.
Dyann is survived by her only child, Brooke Kowalewski (Tim), and her two grandchildren Amaya and Harper. She is survived by her parents Bruce Krings (Barb) and Yvonne Steer (John Steer), as well as her four siblings Brian Krings (Crystal), Keith Krings (Dawn), Thomas Krings (Vaughn), and Linda Krings. She is also survived by her stepsiblings Michael Stellpflug (Paula) and Robert Stellpflug (Jen).
Dy is gone too soon and will be missed by many. A celebration of life will be held at the Winona Legion Club on July 16th from 12pm – 6pm.
