Final expenses for Jake Hoffman

Hi, I'm Katie. Jake and I had Faith almost 10 years ago. Though our relationship ended, our friendship never did. In fact, Jake died in my arms just yesterday.

Since then, I've had an outpouring of his friends and loved ones reaching out, wanting to know if there's any way they can help. Emotionally, we are still in shock because we've seen Jake so close to death so many times it was easy to assume he might pull through once more.

Financially, we're far from rich but I can cover the expenses if need be.

I've created this gofundme for anyone who wants honor Jake and help ease the burden for me, but please don't donate if it puts a hardship on you. That's the last thing Jake or I would want.

I'm only hoping, by putting this out there, that it will help all of us find closure.

The funds will be used to help cover the costs of Jake's cremation and a small memorial which will be held after we get his ashes back. I plan to share a bit of Jake's ashes with everyone who loved him
