Final Expenses for Steven R. Burgess

With unbelievable sadness, we type that my father, Steven Burgess, has passed on after a battle with cancer. Diagnosed in December, after weeks of chemo, it truly looked like he was winning the fight. I imagine this is why shock and devastation seem to be the two emotions I hear from so many who knew him. On May 9, 2022, Steve passed away at his home in his sleep.

Steve was born and raised in the Bay Area and lived there his entire life. He graduated from Mt. Diablo High School and worked at Taylor Made Office Systems for more than 25 years. Steve was a lover of music and motorcycles and a complete social butterfly, making friends wherever he'd go.

We are devastated by Steve's loss and were not prepared for the costs associated with his passing, including clearing his home and cremation costs.

We are hoping to raise $3,500 by June 3, 2022. His children, Michelle, Wendy and Sean, are currently asking for donations to help cover the costs. Any further funds raised will be used to give Steve the memorial he deserves, honor his memory, and say our last goodbyes.

Steve's loved ones have cherished all the kind words and efforts thus far more than we can say. If you are able to donate anything at all, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
