Final Expenses for tragic loss of 18 yr old Paydon Maxwell

On Sunday, May 12th, Mother’s Day, Melanie DeWald and her family, experienced the tragic and sudden loss of their 18 year old Son, Paydon James Maxwell. There are truly no words to describe the absolute devastation Paydon’s family is experiencing. I spent yesterday with Melanie and her family talking through and understanding how they would like to celebrate Paydon’s life, honor his memory and their needs for the opportunity to say their last goodbyes. Their wishes are modest, but the unexpected expense of their very modest wishes are beyond their means.

I am creating this GoFund me to ask family, friends and community for donations to help Paydon’s family cover these unplanned final expenses

I am setting the goal for $10,000 based on the current known expenses and an estimation of additional expenses to come.

Funeral home expenses for a simple private family viewing and final expenses: $7,719.86 needed by Saturday May 18th, 2024.

A celebration of life, open to all friends, family and community will be held at the Roger Strickland Farm in Bailey, NC in early June. Further information will be shared as it becomes available.

The outpouring of love, prayers and support Melanie and her family have already received are deeply appreciated. One of the things I love the most about Melanie is her heart and how deeply she cares about others.
