Friday, October 18, 2019 Shawn was severely burned in a tragic accident at his family's home on Whidbey Island and life flighted to Harborview Medical Center -Burn Unit, where he succumbed to his injuries the next day.
The last two years have been those of profound loss for the Cavanah family. Brian and Shani Cavanah, along with their spouses, have had to bear the burden of yet another loss. August of 2018 they lost their father, and their mother this past July.
Knowing these facts, Shawn's friends are trying to help lesson the burden on the family, by creating this campaign to help cover some of his unexpected and final medical expenses.
