Final Farewell for Brian DeFilio

Donation protected
Yesterday morning Brian died unexpectedly in the home that he shared with his brother Andrew. He left behind his 5-year-old son Blake, his parents, Bob & Robin, his siblings, Andrew, Cristina, David, Erica, and Francesca and 10 nephews and nieces who love him more than anything. He was beyond excited to meet his next niece in January.

To know Brian was to love him. He was sarcastic and witty, always the first to crack a joke to break tension or point out an awkward silence to make people laugh. He was outgoing, making instant friends everywhere he went. Loyal to a fault, Brian loved hard and make sure everyone always knew how he felt. He was an avid gamer who loved to spend his free time playing with his brothers, friends and nephews “swearing” that he could beat them on any given day.

He had just changed jobs and was working as an electrical apprentice for a small solar company.  He was just starting to climb the ladder in the electrical field and was thrilled to finally start his career, even if it meant climbing on roofs and hauling solar panels up and down.

Brian did not have life insurance and through their shock and grief, his siblings are starting to work through the details of his services. We are asking for contributions to help ease the financial burden that his family is facing.
