Final Push: X-ray machine for Gordon Wildlife
Tax deductible
Gordon Wildlife is a raccoon rehabilitation center run by wildlife rehabilitator Sarah Bookbinder and her husband, veterinary surgeon Paul Bookbinder.
We are in the process of expanding, building a wildlife hospital and wildlife rehabilitation training center down the road from our rehab facility.
The space is coming together beautifully, but one of the key pieces of equipment we still need is an x-ray machine. For the past 3 years, we have been fundraising for this essential diagnostic instrument.
When we set out 3 years ago to raise funds for this machine, we estimated that it would cost $55,000 to purchase and install the machine, including all the necessary demolition and renovations.
We are overjoyed and incredibly grateful to be able to say that, in those 3 years, we were indeed able to reach our goal, thanks to all of our incredible friends and supporters who believe in us and in this work and we raised the $55,000, which is amazing.
The frustrating news is that we have now completely renovated the space, but with inflation and material costs having been so much on the rise, we are still $11,000 shy of being able to purchase our machine.
The room is ready and waiting, and the need for the machine is there and ever growing. Can you help us reach our goal so that we can buy this life saving equipment?
Gordon Wildlife's veterinarian and Executive Director both donate their time and labor. All funds raised will go towards the purchase of the machine.
Thank you for caring about wildlife in need.
