Final trip for mom to see brother
Donation protected
My mom was just told that her cervical cancer is incurable and that treatments will only serve to lengthen the time we have left with her.
She has wanted to make a trip back to our families hometown in South Dakotah to remember her youth and see her only surviving brother again before anything should happen to either of them. Unfortuanately, that means renting an RV so she can lie down to do chemo treatments or rest and have restroom facilities near at hand at all times for her. It also means that I would need to escort her there and back to drive and provide any care she may need. This means a minimum of 1-2 weeks with no income to keep my household afloat (drag doesn't come with PTO) in addition to the cost of RV rental, gas etc for the trip itself (unless someone out there has an RV they would like to loan me for a couple weeks).
