The Finale Outdoor Region in Liguria is one of the largest mountain biking areas in the world, boasting over 250 dedicated trails. The Finale Outdoor Region Consortium oversees the maintenance of this unique network, supported by funds from the FOR YOU CARD project and contributions from local administrations. A team of trail builders works daily to keep the trails safe and accessible for everyone.
Between October 13th and 17th, violent storms hit our region, causing significant damage to the trail network. No trails were utterly destroyed, but inspections revealed that hundreds of hours of extra work would be required to restore the trails. Current estimates indicate costs of over € 25.000,00 in unplanned expenses.
This crowdfunding campaign aims to raise the resources necessary to fund the maintenance work over the coming weeks to restore the trails to full functionality.
Our trail network is open and enjoyed by tourists, mountain bike operators, teams, and companies in the bike industry. At this delicate moment, we need everyone's support to speed up the restoration and get back to enjoying the trails we love as soon as possible.
La Finale Outdoor Region è uno dei comprensori più vasti al mondo per la mountain bike, con oltre 250 sentieri dedicati. La manutenzione e la gestione di questa rete unica sono garantite dal Consorzio Finale Outdoor Region, grazie ai fondi raccolti attraverso il progetto FOR YOU CARD e il supporto di alcune amministrazioni locali. Un team di trail builder lavora ogni giorno per mantenere i sentieri sicuri e accessibili a tutti.
Tra il 13 e il 17 ottobre scorso, violente piogge hanno colpito duramente la nostra regione, causando gravi danni alla rete sentieristica. Nessun sentiero è stato completamente distrutto, ma i sopralluoghi hanno rivelato che saranno necessarie centinaia di ore di intervento straordinario per ripristinare i percorsi. Le stime attuali indicano costi di oltre € 25.000,00 di spese non pianificate.
Questa campagna di crowdfunding nasce per raccogliere le risorse necessarie a finanziare gli interventi di ripristino. La nostra rete sentieristica è aperta e fruibile da tutti: turisti, operatori del settore mountain bike, squadre e aziende della bike industry. In questo momento così delicato, abbiamo bisogno dell’aiuto di tutti per accelerare i lavori di manutenzione e tornare a godere dei sentieri che amiamo il prima possibile.
