Final Farewell for Aniyah Womack
Donation protected
UPDATE BELOW!
Aniyah Womack was loved by so many and will be truly missed. She was a social butterfly, lighting up the room wherever she was.
On 5/24/2023, she was murdered at the age of 19 with still so much life to be lived. There are still many unknown factors and an ongoing investigation by local detectives. While we don't know all the details surrounding her death, what we do know was she was brought to the hospital by 2 anonymous people with a gunshot wound. The family had spoken with her earlier in the day, and she informed everyone that she was with friends and would be returning home soon. Unfortunately, the hospital was unable to save her life after hours of surgery.
This unexpected tragedy has the family not only wondering why she was taken so soon but also how we can remember her for who she was and not by what happened. Aniyah was recently saved and accepted Christ in her life. She matured to not only start a new job but obtain her 1st apartment. 30 days before her passing as a family, she discussed her last wishes and the planning of her final farewell never expecting it to be so soon.
As unexpectedly this tragic incident occurred, we would like to fulfill her wishes and we are asking for the help of the community. Any amount given will contribute to our overall goal and will be greatly appreciated.
A mother never plans to bury a child and it can be one of the hardest things to do in parenthood. All funds received will be used to cover ALL funeral and medical expenses. Please help us out with a contribution to provide her with the BEST final farewell during such a hurtful time.
** This GoFundMe has been created on behalf of her mother (Andrea Brown) and siblings**
